Content Writing and SEO News for 8/14

That quote is from a Twitter chat I participated in this week. I don’t have time for many but anytime I see @LizStrauss is the guest host I jump in. If you’re on twitter (and if you’re not, start now!) the chats are a great way to learn and connect. You’ll be surprised at the big names that generously share their knowledge via them.

How to Manage the Risks of having Your Own Business – Worried about having your own writing business? Copyblogger has something to say about the subject.

What the eBook Revolution Means and How Copywriters Can Prosper from It – Copyblogger had some good ones this week. The publishing gatekeepers are dead and there  are amazing opportunities for copywriters now, go look!

The Science and Results of Real-Time Content Optimization – Jay Baer at Convince & Convert gives his review of Inbound Writer. Interesting tool, especially for those writers not familiar with SEO writing. Then again it may make some think they don’t need a writer. Good luck with that. I think we’ll still have a job.
